They will receive their Voucher(s) in a plain brown envelope to ensure not to spoil any surprises if using the Experience Day as a gift. For some experiences, they may need to check weather conditions with the supplier before leaving home.
Employer confirms they wish to make the benefit available to employees. Most employers operate Experience Days as an Anytime Benefit as employees often wish to be able to select an Experience to mark an event which is special to them.
Experience Days start at c.£40 to the limit you set up to. The Employer pays for the Experience Day and the employee repays your business over twelve equal monthly deductions from salary. If the employee leaves during the repayment period, any outstanding amount is recovered from final salary.
If operated through salary sacrifice then the employee saves NI at 8% or 2%, depending on their personal rate of tax and BIK charge applies (this is the most common approach). This benefit can also be facilitated as a Net deduction with no BIK (employee does not make NI savings).
