How it works?
City Bike Hire by CycleSaver is a salary sacrifice benefit, meaning that the cost of an employee’s selected subscription is deducted from their gross salary before any tax deductions are made.
This process reduces their taxable income – resulting in savings on income tax and National Insurance contributions.
The cost of the annual subscription is spread over 12 months, making it easier to manage with smaller, tax-efficient deductions from your salary.
This scheme provides ultimate convenience for your employees, with shared bikes that can be picked up and dropped off at different locations, and no need to worry about bike maintenance, theft or costly insurance plans.
Set-Up Requirements
Employer confirms they wish to make the benefit available to employees.
How is it paid for?
The company pays for the annual subscription chosen and the employee repays your business over twelve equal monthly deductions from their salary. If the employee leaves during the repayment period any outstanding amount is recovered from the final salary.
